Appearance: Isaak is just under six feet in height (about six foot two on skates, he will tell you), with a lean athletic build. He has strong arms and legs, and a flat stomach and is very wiry - strong but without bulk. His hair is dark brown and has a bit of a curl to it which is noticeable whenever he lets it grow a bit. He has high cheekbones and a sensual mouth and very expressive eyes and eyebrows. When he grins it is wide, friendly and mischievous in parts. When he is angry he can look downright devilish. Isaak is a bit of a chameleon when it comes to clothes. He is often found in jeans and casual tops, but he can dress up with the best of them and rocks a suit.

Psychic Ability: Cryokinesis.
Expanded abilities: Isaak is able to slow the motion of atoms in any object, essentially lowering the temperature of that object (or person or space). With this he can freeze anything, and can create ice as well. He is able to control the amount he drops the temperature of something, so he can just cool something, or drop it well below the freezing level if he wants. He is able to freeze people as well, and can cause localized freezing or all-over. He is able to create ice using moisture from his own body or moisture from the air or the surrounding area.
Limitations: The hotter it is, the more difficult it is for Isaak to freeze things. This is because the hotter the temperature of a place or object, the faster the atoms are moving and the more he would have to slow them in order to freeze. In extremely dry weather it is more difficult for Isaak to create ice.

Personality: Isaak is a bit of a joker, a laid back sort of guy who likes a laugh, likes having a good time. A bit lazy, he’s often found kicking around playing video games or drinking beer or watching tv. His biggest passion in life is hockey, and when it comes to the came he is all business. He plays, he knows all the stats - he’s all about hockey. Which might explain that, rather than using a conventional weapon, he tends to brandish a hockey stick in fights. Isaak is a good guy if you’re a friend, and he’s all trouble if you’re not. Saucy and charming in equal parts, Isaak can be quite a handful when he wants to be. When he gets mad, however, he’s a devil, full of fire ice and brimstone.

Strengths: Hockey. He’s been on skates for as long as he could walk. He skates and stick handles well (his preferred position is right wing). Isaak has charming personality which makes people like him. He’s a scrappy little thing (hey, he’s a hockey player!).
Weaknesses: When he uses his abilities to create ice he can become dehydrated quickly. Summer tends to make him a bit lazy. He can be a bit too reckless at times and courts trouble.
Likes: Hockey, the Maple Leafs, Team Canada, the Simpsons, Canada, pizza, hockey, the winter, snowboarding, hockey, roller-blading, rock music, hockey, sex, video games, sleeping in, joking around, hockey.
Dislikes: People who don’t like hockey. Dur. Also, overly hot weather, people who can’t laugh at themselves or take themselves way too seriously, George W. Bush and Republicans in general, olives.

History: Isaak was born and raised in Toronto, Ontatio. As was not uncommon, he was on skates from the time he could really walk, and started playing hockey when he was five. Like so many Canadian boys, hockey was his biggest passion. When he wasn’t on the ice he was playing street hockey or basement hockey or hockey video games.

It was either funny or ironic that when his psychic power developed it happened to be cryokinesis. He was suddenly freezing things just by touching them, quite a surprise. He had no particular explanation for it. It took him a while, but eventually he learned to control it so he wasn’t freezing everything. He graduated high school with average grades, but decided to forgo university. Isaak worked odd jobs for a few years, until he happened to meet another psychic, an American who was in town. Over some beers and conversation he was told (in vague terms) about a group of psychics in New Hampshire.

And so Isaak crossed the boarder illegally and joined up with Project Stargate, where he’s been ever since.
